Providence Orlando Community Hosts First Annual Builder’s Cup Golf Tournament
Orlando, Fla (June 9, 2016) — Providence Golf and Country Club Community was the ideal location for the first annual “Builders Cup Invitational Golf Tournament” on Friday, June 3rd. This was an appreciation event for both new home buyers in the luxury gated community and Realtors active at Providence. The golf tournament was hosted by the five active builders in Providence: ABD Development Company, Park Square, Lennar, Emerald/DR Horton, and Contempo Homes.
2016 was elected to be the first year that the ABD development of Providence, just southwest of downtown Orlando, would organize and host a special golf tournament in appreciation for many years of support. With over 80 participating players, the event was a resounding success. Players and sponsors were treated to a lunch and dinner at Providence’s fabulous clubhouse, as well as enjoying treats and snacks provided by several on-course sponsors. Participants had a great time playing golf, networking, and enjoying the beautiful Central Florida weather.
Sponsors of the First Annual Builder’s Cup included LRA Insurance, Orlando Sentinel Media Group/Builder Media Solutions, Clear Channel Outdoor, MoneyCorp, First Green Bank, 3D Interactive Virtual Tours, and Custom Trade Printing. The winning team was awarded The Providence Cup and Lennar’s powerhouse team of Jerry Fulton, Tim Fritz, Noi Sariga, and Travis Chivers had the winning score of 57. The cup will be engraved with their names and will be on display for all to see at the Providence Welcome Center.
“This is just another example of the commitment that Providence has made to the Realtor community and to our new home customers,” says Yuval Botansky, President of Providence builder and developer, ABD Development Company. “We strive to make this the top destination for new home buyers in the Orlando area. Home ownership fees at Providence are the lowest in the area. We have no CDD fees, no mandatory club dues, low HOA – yet residents enjoy an abundance of amenities and quality of life.”
The Providence Golf Club, designed by esteemed course designer Michael Dasher, is the showpiece of the community, yet runs independently of the home owners, allowing low HOA fees. Players visit the golf course from all over the world and the positive reviews of its vibrant greens and unspoiled natural setting come in day after day. ABD Development has currently sold out of its inventory of golf cottages in Sherbrook Springs at Providence, but will be breaking ground on four more models soon.
Providence also features many single family homes by various nationally known builders, several of whom were participating in the Builder’s Cup this year. The abundance of model choices ensures that if you would like to live within the gates of Providence, there is something that is designed and built just for you. For a quick move-in, ABD has only two spec homes available for purchase in the Heritage Green neighborhood at Providence: the Sorrento model was just completed in April and is listed at $433K and the Portofino with pool has been reduced from $540K to $500K so bring your offer today.
