Providence Golf Course

Davenport, Fla (September 19, 2012). — The Michael Dasher designed golf course at Providence, Central Florida’s gated community of luxury homes by five different home builders, celebrated five years of business in August. The naturally beautiful golf course is the focal point of Providence, located just southwest of Orlando in the Polk County countryside.

Its banquet facility, open to the public along with the award winning golf course, has hosted numerous events over the years including many weddings. “Our banquet facility has become known for offering a first class experience at affordable prices,” says Tim Greco, General Manager of Providence Golf Club. He adds, “You can always pay more for less but why would you?”

Providence Golf Club’s restaurant, The Grille Room, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and features fine dining for residents and visitors with early bird specials on the weekends and two for one dinner specials on Wednesdays and Fridays. Reservations are required to take advantage of specials. The hours of the restaurant vary throughout the week. ABD Development Company, recognized for developing Providence and other Florida communities, knows the golf club is in a league of its own in terms of elegance and location. “During the economic downturn, the banquet facility continued to bring in revenue from weddings and other important events,” says Yuval Botansky, President of ABD Development. The company has new houses in Providence available and is building several more. “We have a building boom occurring as we and other builders at Providence are encountering an increased demand for new homes,” Botansky says.
